I made my first stuffed toy about 25 years ago. It was actually 'Gonzo' from The Muppet Show. One of my young sons loved Gonzo and in those days you couldn't buy him. So I knitted Gonzo out of blue wool, then stuffed him and dressed him. He was a great success! He's still around somewhere as I saw him recently. After Gonzo, I graduated to making teddy bears. I love making teddy bears but they take a lot of skill, patience and time to make. Time is one thing that people don't have enough of these days, so buying a good quality bear is the best solution.
